Cover Songs?

Friends,
we're excited to play the Mainstreet Crossing venue tomorrow in north Houston (Tomball).
If you're close, come see us.
If you're not, call a friend who is - and send them our way.
The Show begins at 7pm with Gatlin Elms opening up.
Tickets are $5 at the door and show is in partnership with Compassion International.

So, as promised, no matter if you're coming to the show or not - please give us some insight on what cover song you'd most like to hear RSB attempt to play.

Here are the nominees:

Billy Joel - Movin Out

Travis - Writing to Meet You

Beatles - Hello Goodbye

Jon Foreman - Your Love is Strong

Wallflowers - One Headlight

Willie nelson - Pancho & Lefty

California Stars - Wilco

Johnny Cash - Give my Love to Rose

Travis - Sing

cast your vote.
what do you think?

Definitely Travis.. "Sing". That's the song we played in the car on the way home from the hospital with our third baby! "Hello, Goodbye" would be awesome to hear you guys play and the whole Willie Nelson song choice makes me chuckle! But I say go for that, too!! Our whole family will be there..it's our "School's Out" celebration. Hope to chat with you there! The Raney family

This wasn't on the list, but I nominate "California Stars" from the Wilco/Billy Bragg album.

Or Karma Police. =)

Brad Paisley - I'm Still A Guy

j/k!! Really though...

Elton John - Tiny Dancer (the Marler family has a great 'inside joke' about this one)...also, Ben Folds has a great 'cover' of it on YouTube.

Sharla and I hope to be out there..it'll be like a FBC Tomball/Magnolia reunion! ; )

I think Jakob Dylan might be your vocal soul brother. It's gotta be "One Headlight." Also tell me Ryan wouldn't have fun with that prominent bass line.

hey Robbie...didn't realize that you meant to choose from the above list!! Still think you should do "Tiny Dancer" a la Ben Folds!! : )

If it's from the list though -- gotta go with Willy!!

My day would be complete if I could hear the RSB singing "Pancho and Lefty".

Even though there was no 'Willie' or 'Tiny Dancer', we still enjoyed a great night, and all the "covers" were boss!!

Great to see you and catch up!

BTW -- if Tim McGraw can "cover" Tiny Dancer, I expect RSB to do the same one day!! ; )
